OPD Sex Crimes Detectives have once again arrested Scott Wesley Irwin (12/11/1988) on Video Voyeurism charges.
On two separate occasions in February, a customer at the Publix on Meeting Place in Orlando observed Irwin placing his cell phone inside a hand basket, then video recording under the skirt or
shorts of young girls between the ages of 5-13.
The customer reported the incident to management then to OPD. Through video footage and an investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect, who was subsequently positively identified by the customer.
Both crimes he has been arrested for are felonies: Video Voyeurism upon a child less than 16 years of age.
In the earlier case for which he was arrested, Irwin's victim was 13. In this most recent case, the victim was 10 years old. There is a still unidentified victim who detectives believe is about 7 years old.
